It’s barely even winter, and already we’re planning next year’s wardrobe out in our head, all thanks to NYFW SS18. Hundreds of designers and brands showed their new collections earlier this month, leaving us with a crazy amount of looks to drool over. These are the top outfits we have a hardcore feening for, as we push the current pieces in our closet to the side.
ROBE SHOWSTOPPER at VAQUERA
The final look of the show–an XXXL white bathrobe–stole our homebody hearts! We can’t wait to feel like a lazy bride as we traipse around the house, as a voluminous train follows our lead to the kitchen (photo above).
BIKER BABE at FENTY PUMA by Rihanna
It’s a given that we’ve already made space on our credit cards for every look in the collection, but the spandex biker shorts and clear wedge ankle boots have us freaking out in particular. Are you seeing these nails, too?
VELOUR RENEWED at JUICY COUTUREE
Can we all hold hands and agree that JC is back… and that their cult-classic velour two-pieces have been sorely missed? Thanks to this baby blue number, there’s no more love-hate relationship on our part. We’re totally in!
GRAPHIC CONTENT at HELMUT LANG
Another season, another must-have designer logo graphic tee, and we have a hunch that LANG’s will be most-hunted come Springtime. The brand has always maintained its sleek, city mood, but now there’s an urban edge we can’t look away from.
SHOULDER SHRUG at KITH
Bodysuits are still a thing, and now lifestyle brand Kith is giving them an early eighties revamp with a one-shoulder silhouette. This will definitely be a go-to for us come Friday night with a skirt or Saturday afternoon with jeans (low hung, á la Aleali May).
MAXIMUM CAMO at VFILES
This is the show where no rules apply and imaginations run completely wild. INXX’s camouflage look with snap-up baggy shorts and traditional Chinese painting patchwork spread across the back is a major conversation-starter.
COUNTRY ROCK at CALVIN KLIEN
Monochromatic white denim is so wrong, but damn it feel so right! Buttoned high up the neck, and slightly baggy in silhouette, Klein’s stylish interpretation of Rock ‘n’ Roll Country has us seriously considering a pair of silver-tipped cowboy boots.
GOING GIRLIE at CUSHNIE ET OCHS
Spring isn’t Spring without cliché florals and a hint of skin, and this look puts us in a sunny, out-for-brunch sort of mood. Plus, the way Cushnie et Ochs pairs off-the-shoulder with high-waist is the sexiest thing we’ve seen all fashion week.
SPORTY HOTTIE at GCDS
Moto stripes and velour track shorts are a team we never imaged before, but when you see them come together, it’s magic. A fun graphic baby tee and bold primary colors are like icing on the cake, and with that… we’re off to the mall.
METALLIC MAMA at BAJA EASTT
These boys are pros when it comes to luxury comfort, and now they’re showing us that they can mix trends with an easy design like this crop top and asymmetrical skirt set. Those ‘90s, baby-soft metallic hues are where it’s at, though!
