International Women’s Day may be over but the celebration of female empowerment sure isn’t. To keep the momentum of Women’s History Month going, Levi’s has partnered with digital media company Girlgaze to launch the #IShapeMyWorld short film series. Together, the companies hope to “close the gender gap by creating visibility and tangible jobs for girls behind the lens.”
The series features four short films that highlight the perspectives of women and tell the stories those in the Girlgaze community. The four films star activist and creator of the #MeToo movement, Tarana Burke, football star, Sam Gordon, co-founder of the Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls, Mona Tavakoli, and co-founder of the International Indigenous Youth Council, Jasilyn Charger.
