Going to back-to-back shows can be tricky for wardrobe changes, but you can make it easier on yourself by wearing something two ways. I had no time to change going from one show to the next. So I wore this Tibi long yellow dress two ways. I like the rich, marigold color and movement it gives. This would serve as the base for my outfits all day.
First up was the Mansur Gavriel show where I wore this Mansur Gavriel circle crossbody bag (also available here and similar here). The vibrant pink makes a color block effect with the dress. To tone down all the color, I wore this Tibi plaid blazer (similar here and here). My obsession with plaid blazers stems from the fact they make you look refined. Now, these Gianvito Rossi knee high boots (similar here) were made for walking. I’m not kidding, they’re so comfortable and the knee high aspect makes my legs keep warm even when I am wearing a dress. I had to wear them so I could run from one show to the next. For earrings I put on DVF hoop beaded earrings (similar here). They’re a bold impact but are lightweight making them easy to wear for a long time.
I went for color this day because I have been doing a lot of monochrome the past few days at fashion week. For the next show I wore a DVF faux fur green jacket (similar here) over my dress. The feel of faux fur is luxurious without harming animals, which makes it that much better.I matched my Chanel PVC quilted bag (similar here) to my belt. The clear/PVC trend is everywhere right now. And having a clear bag makes me not keep old, random receipts and junk in my bag. So it’s a win-win (a cool trend, that makes you a neater person).
