Let’s be real, any day is a good day to #treatyoself and show your body and mind some extra attention. But there’s something about the season of love that makes indulging a little more in ourselves extra fitting. Read on for our favorite ways to treat ourselves and get a few ideas on how to show yourself some love this Valentine’s Day (or any day!).
Maria Tash Jewelry
I’ve been obsessed with jewelry lately. Maria Tash has the best selection of earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. The jewelry is simple, dainty, and all compliment each other perfectly. It’s a bit pricey, but still quite affordable. Perfect gifts to treat yoself.

I live to be massaged. I could easily get multiple massages in one day if I had the time. Not only do they help with stress relief, there’s just nothing better than being physically put into a relaxed state. When I’m in the US, I use the Soothe app for on demand, in-home massages. They’re amazing.

I just started to get eyelash extensions because I was tired of using stripped-lashes. My best “treat yoself” moment is when I wake up and feel pretty because I don’t have to do anything to my lashes!

Face Facial Bar
Let’s see… I buy myself flowers on the regs, schedule facials every six weeks at this amazing spot in LA called Face Facial Bar, and treat myself to massages at The Now. As a daily treat, I keep face sprays at my bedside, in my to-go cosmetics bag, and on my #shelfie. My fave is Mario Badescu Rose Water. I don’t need a Hallmark holiday as a reminder to love myself. I do it all the time!

Don’t just treat yourself for V-Day! You better be out here taking care of yourself, buying yourself gifts, complimenting yourself, and just making yourself feel like the best version of you every day! One of the ways I like to do that is by making sure I have time for myself. I love baths, journaling, and getting to know myself a little better. Plus, a mani never hurt! Floss Gloss carries my favorite colors to make my nails look perf!

An at-home spa day is how I treat myself on a budget. I use the full body salt scrub from Soapcherie, a face mask from LUSH (Mask of Magnaminty) or the Aztec Clay Mask with some Apple Cider Vinegar, and a super duper hair mask from Innisfree. I try to make myself glow and pamper myself when I can once a week.

I’ve been really skincare-obsessed recently, so I have a pretty dedicated evening regimen that doubles as a good time to unwind. Cleanser, serums, moisturizers, you name it! Sunday Riley and Drunk Elephant are really effective high-end brands that make some of my fave skincare products, while Glossier and The Ordinary also have amazing affordable options.

After moving to Korea where bathtubs are not common to come by, my ideal way of treating myself has consisted of doing a full body scrub session. I’ve been using theFrank Body Coffee Scrub and it really leaves my skin feel silky smooth. I then take a steaming hot shower, light up a few candles, drop a few drops of lavender essential oil into my diffuser, and slap on a sheet mask (usually a coconut gel mask from Leaders) whilst most likely eating take out.

Three Twins Ice Cream
There is nothing like spending loads of time in Target. Honestly, going through every aisle and taking my time at Target is one of the easiest ways I treat myself. My newfound love is Lemon Cookie ice cream from Three Twins Ice Cream. I was also recently introduced to The Great British Baking Show and have loved it ever since. It’s like no other food show I’ve watched before. Grab some ice cream from Target and watch Netflix all night? I’m sold.

Taking a long and luxurious bath at the end of a hard day is my favorite way to treat myself. I love to draw a bath, light some candles, and put on a Netflix show on my iPad. I can’t take a bath without a good bath bomb, and LUSH Cosmetics bath bombs, particularly the Giant Rose or Twilight bath bomb, are my personal favorites. Additionally, I love masking while I’m in the bath. The steam from the hot water opens up my pores and creates an at-home facial effect. When it comes to masking, the Aztec Healing Clay Mask has been a lifesaver for my skin.

To treat myself after a long hard day, I make sure to nurture my mind because this is where I feel I get the most caught up in stress. Step one is to use Glossier’s Milky Jelly Cleanser to get off all of my makeup and feel fresh. Then, I’ll light as many candles as I can find, run a bath with Burt’s Bees therapeutic “Bath Crystals,” and lay back for an hour or so. Once that’s done, I throw on my robe, put my favorite vinyl record on and start reading something that gets my mind going. A recent favorite that I find myself reading over and over is Jennifer Clement’s Widow Basquiat. It never gets old

I’ve been obsessed with essential oils for the last six months and they have truly helped with de-stressing, relaxing and clearing the mind. Every night I fill my diffuser/humidifier from Pure Enrichment with whichever oil helps my mood for the night and just relax and unwind. My favorite oil is Lavender because of it’s soothing power; it mellows out my whole body which helps me get a good night’s sleep.

Anything “spa-like” is my favorite way to treat myself. I love taking baths, especially after a long day. Aromatheraphy’s Stress Relief in Eucalyptus + Spearmint is seriously a stress reliever–I mean, just the name makes me feel relaxed already, lol. On top of baths, I love a good nighttime skincare routine. I use Oasis’s Hydrating Treatment and AmorePacific’s Hydration Mist, just so my skin feels fresh and moisturized when I wake up in the morning.
